LDAP

I've been wanting to actually sit down and spend some time figuring out running LDAP on Domino. I did just that yesterday. The main purpose for my new quest for knowledge is simple. Our SPAM solution allows incoming requests to be looked up against the Domino Directory. After following the correct steps of first turning on LDAP on the Admin server for the Domino Directory, and then replicating the schema.nsf to the server that will be used for lookups, everything fell into place. So far today, over 200,000 messages have been stopped. I couldn't believe it.

Now, if I can figure out how to get iNotes/DWA to work through an Apache reverse proxy, I will be a happy man.

Also, Gregg posted info today that Lotusphere registration will be opening soon. As far as I know, I am going.
