I was fortunate enough to be asked to speak at this mornings Northeast Ohio Lotus User Group (NEOLUG) about one of my favorite topics. InstallShield Tuner for Lotus Notes. More on that later, but for now here are the slides and my documentation.

I previously used some posts of yours when I was building an install, always helpful and appreciated.
It really is black magic though to many, but it's fairly simple once you get going on it.
Excellent presentation, Andy. While there are many options from which to choose, when creating a Transform file, you boiled it down to the most important, allowing us to successfully create our first install.
Nicely done.
IBM Technote #1287212 has the solution to getting Sametime components to install during silent install of Notes 8 standard
Hello:
I have successfully created the tuner and added notes.ini to the single user install. Where do you put the notes.ini folder on the multi-user install so that it updates each user's notes.ini?
thanks, Lea-Anne
hi andy,
how do i use the tuner to copy files to user's network/home drive? thanks
I haven't run through the steps in a while, so you'll have to forgive me, but I can't recall off hand if there is a way to do that in IST, but, if you create a .bat or .cmd file with everything in it and then include the copy commands, perhaps that might help! Let me know!
