Harumph!

Man, it's been a hell of a week. I've been meaning to post some updates on stuff for the past couple of days, but things have been just too crazy. To start off, last week I had to prepare for rolling out the OS patch from Microsoft for DST. I was able to get that in place Saturday and I've already heard of a few people complaining that their calendar entries are an hour off. Now I just have to wait for the desktop folks to get the desktop/laptop patch rolled out to people so I can start on their calendar entries and the reservation database. Then on Monday afternoon, we found a nasty little Windows 2000 worm crawling through out network. That kept me up past midnight Monday. Then last night I was up again past 11 patching ALL of my Domino servers. All of the Domino servers that I already had down on Saturday. Insert grumbling and fowl language here.
Hopefully, the rest of the week will go smoothly. I'm off to the NEOLUG meeting tomorrow morning at IBM Cleveland and Friday I plan on playing catch up on the three servers I need to replace for end of lease.
Oh, one other follow up thing. Back during Lotusphere, I mentioned that a vendor "awarded" me a device from them. Still haven't seen anything from them, even after email follow ups. Only time will tell I guess.
