Spring is here!

This weekend really afforded us with the first opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy the weather! It also let us get out and play with our new toy! The Kodak Z740 camera!

Saturday started off with a visit to the Nicole Donant's library in Mineral City. She's the young girl in my son's grade that had her wish featured on the NBC show "Three Wishes" back in October. Saturday was the grand opening, and the kids had fun checking it out. Then, we ended up driving out to Carrollton, OH. We walked around the town snapping some pictures along the way, and had fun exploring an old antique shop. Well, Denise and I did. The kids always find stuff like that boring. While out there, we found a new church and hit Palm Sunday mass on Saturday night.

Sunday was clean the garage day. We have been saying that we need to do it for a while now, and we finally broke down and did it. So with the garage now clean, I actually have room for a tractor to cut my lawn with! Ya, I'm lazy when it comes to that. The rest of the day was spent with, Denise, Molly and the mutt, (and the camera), for a walk around Zoar.

I don't think I have ever written much about Zoar on here. It's a small community that was founded back in 1817 by some German Separatists in search of freedom from religious persecution. They ended up on the banks of the Tuscarawas River, and many of the old sites remain to this day. It's a nice little town, part living museum, part neighborhood. Of course, our family favorite is the "every-other-year" Civil War re-enactment that they host. Too bad it's not until next year though. We can walk to it now.

Well, it's time to get Monday started. Have to make some plans of consolidating a couple of servers together and get rid of my last remote dial-up location.
