What a week

So, the migration for Exchange to Lotus continues. This week, I had to get a server ready to go to its temporary location to migrate people. That wasn't too big of an issue. The problem was getting the tape drive for backups to work. I was in charge of backups for two years at my job, and I NEVER had as much problems with a tape drive as I have had this week! Finally, after a $300 SCSI card was purchased, things started working properly. I also needed to get 4 workstations together and built so that we could run more then one migration at a time. It begins next week. My Domino domain is going to start to get some new residents. Hope they like it here, I sure do :)
I am glad this week was crazy. Will make the final paintball match of the season so much sweeter. I have mentioned before here that I like to paintball. Since I live on several acres of land, it just makes sense that I invite everyone over to play on it. It's usually just the same group of us that have been playing with and against each other for a bunch of years now. Over the past couple of years, the group has grown much larger. Friends bringing friends and then them becoming our friends. Works out real well that way. So far, looks like about 20 people, which is the most we have ever had.
And to top the week off, last night I found out my oldest niece is pregnant. That’s really cool, but I then realized something. I am going to be a Great-Uncle! Good Lord I am getting old.
Well, I am off for now. Have some admin'in to do.
