They can be a real pain in the butt! For some reason, the iPod that I won this past year at Lotusphere decided it no longer wanted to talk to my computer. If you have an iPod, and run into problems with it, here is a simple way to reset it, without throwing it at a wall.
Hold down the Play/Pause button and the Menu button at the same time. That will clear out whatever is locked up, and should get it working again.
