So I got to hold the pole yesterday
There is nothing on Earth quite like standing just feet away from a high performance stunt plane going somewhere between 150 and 200 MPH as it flies only feet above the ground right in front of you. Wow! It's one thing to see it from the safety of the viewing area but to be right there...again, wow! In the picture above, I'm on the left holding up the huge Oracle banner with one of my coworkers. Seriously, if you ever get a chance to see Oracle's Sean Tucker at an airshow, you will not be disappointed! He is a fantastic pilot and a very nice man to meet.

Well, those who (like me) survived the Ramstein airshow disaster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramstein_airshow_disaster)in 1988 might have a slightly different point of view.
"So I got to hold the pole yesterday"
Heh heh - That's what she said.
