Well, it's New Years Eve.
Looking back at '04, a lot went out. Got a lot done at work. Started out the year with rolling out Domino 6.5 servers in my environment. Started in February and ended a couple weeks ago in Memphis. Rolled out Pylon as a replacement to the BlackBerry environment that we had. That REALLY has taken off and people seem to like it for mobile mail sync with Domino. Started to roll out iNotes externally, but, that got put on ice when we acquired another company, and I had to learn how to make Domino and Exchange play nice with one another. And then convert all of the mail files from Exchange to Domino. Got to take development training this year too. Actually know how to make a Domino database from scratch now.
Personally, it was a wild ride. Year started out a little crazy with things. That seemed to settle down a bit though. Got to see Prince in concert. That was a true high point. But, then there was the back surgery. That sucked. But from that, I was able to spend the entire summer with my wife and kids. Got to watch my little girl grow up more. Watch my son become a teenager in front of my eyes. And, just spent a lot of time with my wife, which made our relationship so much stronger.
Well, 2005 is about 10 hours away. Looking forward to starting off the year at Lotusphere. Also looking forward to rolling out things like Department Calendar and Server Admin Plus. Just a lot of cool projects. Hope your year went well. And I hope that your 2005 is full of many wonderful things.
