As promised, I am back to day for an update of all the fun and excitement that’s been going on in my neck of the woods.
Spam:
Things are getting better on the spam front. We are using Ciphertrust's Ironmail, and so far, I really like it. It's killing well over 90% of all inbound mail. Some stuff still gets through, but not like it was. So I'm happy.
Sametime:
Kind of a pain in the butt. But, it is working on the limited group that we have set up. They seems happy, but, there are a few bugs in the client that need ironed out. The 6.5 Notes client version is working great, and I am VERY happy with that.
Mobile Access:
For the past year, we have been using BlackBerry's for our execs to get at their email and keep up to date with it. But, there has been a lot of back build from others that we need something else. Looks like we are going to go with Pylon to see if they can help. Stay tuned for updates.
Domino 6.5 Upgrade:
The TRUE pain in my side. For some reason, I could not get the server to work. Every time I would start the server, it would crash with an NSD. Drove me nuts. Finally, Lotus support suggested that I add the line to my NOTES.INI file
PLATFORM_STATISTICS_DISABLED=1
That stopped the crashing. I guess there has been an issue with a lot of 6.x servers. So be warned.

Outside that, I’m looking forward to my trip to Orlando next month.

That's all for now.
